Carey Wood was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from University of California, Berkeley, with a major in cultural anthropology. She earned her J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law where she was recognized on the Dean’s list. During her time at Pepperdine, Ms. Wood served as an editor on the National Association of Administrative Law Journal and a member of the environmental and employment law associations.
Throughout her career, Carey has consistently worked as an advocate for injured individuals in all areas of civil litigation, including employment and personal injury law. She enjoys getting to know her clients and understanding their stories through individualized attention and communication, and representing them with strong and skillful advocacy. As an associate at Strategic Legal Practices, Carey concentrates her practice in the area of consumer fraud and automotive defect litigation.
Carey lives in Marina Del Rey, CA to be close to the water and beach yoga! She is admitted to practice law in California state courts and all California Federal District courts. She is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and Consumer Attorneys of California.
