Guy Bercegeay is originally from New Orleans, LA. He attended Louisiana State University and earned his B.S. in psychology, with a double major in philosophy. Guy earned his J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where he served as Managing Editor for the Loyola Law Review and President of the Federal Bar Association. Guy was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar in October of 2017 and the California State Bar in January of 2021. Before joining SLP, Guy practiced civil litigation, with an emphasis on insurance defense, insurance coverage and bad faith claims, property damage and construction defect claims, premises liability, as well as complex matters involving product liability and multi-party contract disputes. At SLP, Guy focuses his practice on consumer protection and automotive defect litigation.
In his free time, Guy enjoys running, hiking, biking, reading science fiction novels and cooking authentic Cajun and creole cuisine.
